Further development of information logistics is a priority area for Vectura and a decisive factor in acquiring future competitive advantages.

In May 1999, the entire business changed to SAP as a new future platform. SAP is a fully integrated system that links the entire flow of goods and gives much better control and management data. Internally, this system gives the possibility for improved purchasing planning, tighter cost control and follow-up of key figures through the entire value chain. Vectura’s customers (importers / agents / producers) will also be active users of the system.

Vectura OnLine gives users of the Vectura system the possibility to follow the flow of goods "on time" via the Internet. At the same time, the system functions as a sales management tool with direct access to information regarding stock, sales per product, sales per customer, etc. The information may be obtained via mobile phone / laptop and thereby gives the sales organization continuous updated market data.

The customers may be "SAP users" through line connection. This solution means that Vectura’s employees and customers will work in the same system with an identical information basis.

Since 1998, the Ho-Re-Ca industry has been able to order online through VectBest. This system has been under continuous development, based on input from the customers. VectBest now includes an ordering system via the Internet or fax, stock management system, electronic price list, product information and the possibility for generation of wine lists.
