Vinordia is 100 % owned by Arcus AS, the largest supplier in Norway of wine and spirits. Arcus AS is the only distiller in Norway and has more than 80 years of experience as a supplier and producer of wine and spirits. Arcus is established in the Nordic market through the subsidiaries Arcus Sweden and Arcus Finland. The Norwegian subsidiary Vinordia was established in 2002, and supplies wines from many well-known producers from all over the world. Between them, Vinordia and Arcus shares the largest, strongest and best sales force in the country, consisting of 11 people dedicated to sales.
Large portfolio
Vinordia's portfolio counts more than 200 products from 50 different producers. Most of the producers are European, but we also have some representatives from the New World of wine, such as Odfjell Vineyards and Viña Punto Alto from Chile, Kanonkop and l'Avenir Estate from South Africa and St. Hallett from Australia. Among our most important European partners we would like to mention Domaine Laroche of Chablis and Southern France, Bodegas Chivite from Navarra, Casa Girelli representing the whole of Italy, and Pommery Champagne.
High quality wineries
In addition to large prestigious wineries as mentioned above, Vinordia also specialises in finding premium quality wines from smaller local wineries. Excellent examples are Olivier Leflaive (Bourgogne) and Château la Nerte (Châteauneuf-du-Pape).
