1. EMISSION

Reduce Vectura’s carbon dioxide for transportation by 30 percent.

2. RECYCLING

Reduce non-recyclable garbage by 30 percent

3. ENERGY

Increase energy efficiency during our production processes to 0,3 KwH per litre produced (2015: 0,38 KwH)

2. Increase eco-friendly products

Continue to make high quality products while increasing environmentally friendly packaging and share of ecological products

As a large producer, we are fully aware that we have an impact on the environment.

Packaging is one of the most important aspects our business is impacting on the environment. We will continue to work systematically towards more eco-friendly packaging.

Arcus will promote ecological and organically made products, thereby supporting enviornmentally friendly production.

1. PACKAGING

35 per cent of all self-bottled bottles should be of recyclable plastic by 2020.

2. ECO-PRODUCTS

15 per cent of all sold units should be produced using environmentally friendly methods by 2020.

3. Encourage responsible drinking

Continue to promote responsible drinking to consumers, employees and stakeholders in contact with Arcus.

What to expect from Arcus

We take a serious stance towards the problems associated with alcohol abuse.

PROACTIVE

We shall continuously promote the awareness campaign «Think before you drink» towards consumers, employees and to all stakeholders in contact with Arcus.

2017 is a test-year for active promotion of the unbranded campaign «Think before you drink» towards graduating high school students («russ»).

Introduce “Think before you drink” at 75 percent of all self-bottled units.

2. EMPLOYEES AS AMBASSADORS

95 percent of the employees shall at all times be fully aware of Arcus’ stance towards responsible consumption.

3. CORPORATE MATERIAL

Promote «Think before you drink» in all relevant corporate material.

4. Safe and sound at work

Continue to keep HSE-injuries and sick-leave at the lowest possible level

Employees are crucial to our success. We shall continue to have strong focus on health, safety and the environment. Great emphasis shall be placed on avoiding accidents and injuries.

We shall have an inclusive workplace where people with extra challenges can succeed.

1. INJURIES

Zero absence due to injuries.

2. SICK LEAVE

Keep the level at maximun 5,8 percent sick leave, or lower, compared to Norwegian industry-average at 6,0 percent (2016).

3. SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY

Arcus shall have at least four employees with extra challenges who need on-the-job training and assistance to enter into working life.
